Bright Brewery’s Imperial Double Shot Affogato Stout is a rich, full-bodied imperial stout brewed with a double batch of locally roasted Sixpence Coffee from Bright. Creamy lactose and vanilla give it a sweet, roasty affogato character, while the brewery describes a coffee-forward aroma, velvety texture and generous vanilla sweetness. At 8.5% ABV, this is a beer to savour slowly rather than rush. Pour it into a stout glass and let it warm slightly to bring out the coffee and vanilla notes. It is also well suited to dessert service—try it alongside vanilla ice cream, chocolate desserts or a rich after-dinner cheese board. The verified retail format is 440ml cans; Bright Brewery lists cases of 16 cans.
